Natalie Cowan: Political hackery

I, along with many of my fellow residents, am appalled at the City Council's recent action to terminate Paul Hughes as city manager. It reeks of political hackery and arrogance. Shame on you. Wait until the next election comes around; your low behavior will not be forgotten.
Congratulations Paul Strong and Lou Antonucci for standing up for decency. I don't envy you having to deal with these unfair people. It will be difficult to keep them from rendering politically motivated decisions.
