1:59 a.m. A loud group of college students partying in the 2200 block of Storm Mountain Drive was warned to be quiet.
2:01 a.m. A 24-year-old man riding a Steamboat Springs Transit bus near Walton Creek and Village roads was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault and criminal mischief after getting into a fistfight with another man on the bus.
2:58 a.m. A man driving near the Sleepy Bear mobile home park on U.S. Highway 40 reportedly lost control of the van he was driving and slid off the road, rolling the van once. The man was not injured in the accident.
6:19 a.m. A car and a city road grader reportedly were involved in an accident near Lincoln Avenue and Anglers Drive. No injuries were reported.
8:45 a.m. A woman in the 3000 block of Village Drive reported finding pornographic photos stuffed in a dryer with her underwear.
8:49 a.m. Professional-grade, telephone-testing equipment was found at the Steamboat Springs Transit bus stop on Yahmonite Street.
10:18 a.m. A woman in the 1400 block of Clubhouse Drive reported her purse missing.
11:04 a.m. A man in the 2300 block of Storm Meadows Drive reported his wallet missing.
11:29 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported near Pine Grove and Mount Werner roads.
11:50 a.m. A skunk in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Road reportedly had plastic wrapped around its neck and was walking with a broken leg. The animal was picked up and taken to be put down.
12:16 p.m. A man in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza called police to report his soon-to-be-ex wife was suicidal and was not answering his phone calls. The woman told officers she wasn't answering the phone because she didn't want to talk to the man and that she was not suicidal.
2:18 p.m. A woman in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue reported people parking in the entrance to the new bank.
3:08 p.m. A man in the 400 block of Anglers Drive reported that he had been scammed by people selling and installing speakers out of their home.
4:14 p.m. A water pipe in the 1100 block of Fairway Woods reportedly burst when the residents were not home.
4:36 p.m. A man in the 500 block of Yampa Street reported finding a white purse left on top of a car. The purse turned out to be a lunchbox, which officers left where it was.
5:04 p.m. A woman near Val d'Isere Circle and AprÃs Ski Way reported two dogs acting aggressively toward her 4-year-old child. The owner of the dogs was contacted.
7 p.m. A man in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue found a puppy. The dog was taken to the shelter.
7:11 p.m. A woman in the 2100 Mount Werner Road thought her car was going to catch on fire because it was smoking. The car was towed.
11:34 p.m. A 19-year-old man in the 1900 block of Ski Time Square Drive was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault, harassment and possessing alcohol on allegations he punched, kicked and yelled ethnic slurs at a man. His 19-year-old friend was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault on allegations of harassing the same person. Security officers trapped the two 19-year-olds in an elevator until police arrived.
