Local student makes university dean's list
Renee Latek of Steamboat Springs, who is studying science in management at the Johnson & Wales University College of Business in Denver, has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2005 term. To make the dean's list, students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.4 or higher.

Wednesday, Dec. 14
Steamboat Springs Middle School
Band performs holiday concert at Steamboat Springs High School, 7 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 15
Strawberry Park Elementary gymnasium, 6 p.m.
The "Celebration of Light" program with Steamboat Springs Montessori will show how holiday festivals, including Hanukkah, St. Lucia Day and Kwanzaa, are celebrated through light and songs. Montessori kindergarten students will talk about Advent.
Parents are invited.
