¤ A gallery talk with the artists showing at the Depot and by Alice Zrebiec, consulting curator of textile art for the Denver Art Museum and exhibit judge for "Beyond Fibers: New Forms," is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Depot Art Center, 1001 13th St. Call 879-9008.

Opportunities
¤ Artists are invited to submit work for the first "January Thaw Art Exhibit," Jan. 27 to 31 in the Orange Peel Bicycle Velodome, 1136 Yampa Ave.
Artwork may be any medium (including large outdoor work and video) but must somehow involve "oranges, bicycles, the color orange or all three." The cost to enter is $10 per person for as many as three pieces. A portion of every fee will be donated to Bikes Not Bombs, a nonprofit organization working for alternative transportation and community development.
