Free and Reduced Lunch plan available
Families with limited income can submit a short application to apply for the federally funded Free and Reduced Priced Meal program. For families who qualify, meals are free or provided at the reduced price of 40 cents each.
This year, instead of having to fill out one application for each child, families have to fill out only one application for each family.
The program ensures that applications and information about whether students receive benefits are confidential. Other students and teachers will not know whether children are receiving free or reduced priced meals.
For a family of four, the income criteria for receiving free meals is $20,917 and for receiving reduced price meals is $29,767.
Applications may be submitted any time during the school year.
