Prudential Steamboat racks up regional ranks
Prudential Steamboat Realty recently claimed first place for the highest gross commission income in the residential category among Prudential offices in the U.S. central region. The Steamboat brokerage also ranked second in the division for the number of residential units sold.
Lisa Olson was recognized with a "Sales Professional Award" for placing first in Colorado for residential units, and Pam Vanatta took first in the state for GCI. Cam Boyd ranked second in Colorado in GCI.
Seminar offers boost to new businesses
Entrepreneurs contemplating a new business, but unsure of how to formalize their plan, may consider a "Small Business Start-up" workshop planned for four consecutive evenings this month.
"How to Actually Launch your Small Business" will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 22 to 25, in Bogue Hall, Room 300, at Colorado Mountain College. The cost is $80.
Organizer Noreen Moore said people who attend will gain invaluable insights into how to write a small business plan and follow through on it.
Experts in law, accounting, banking, insurance, management and marketing will cover the fundamentals of small business management during the workshop. Call 879-0882, ext. 204.
