Kindergarten enrollment under way
Steamboat Springs
Parents of kindergarteners or new students can register their children at Soda Creek Elementary School starting Monday. Strawberry Park Elementary School already is open for registration.
Soda Creek will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. all next week for registration. Strawberry Park is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Only students who haven't registered need to do so.
School Board study session is Monday
Steamboat Springs
The Steamboat Springs School Board's first study session of the 2005-06 school year is at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the George P. Sauer Human Services Center.
The agenda for the meeting includes a discussion about the Senior Odyssey program, discussion about the facilities usage policy, discussion about nutritional service pricing, review of policies about distribution and posting of non-curricular materials and a progress report.
Teen summer reading program ends Friday

Teens participating in
Bud Werner Memorial Library's summer reading program have until Friday to turn in their completed timepass to the libary to claim a $10 gift certificate to Off the Beaten Path Bookstore, The Potter's Wheel or Silver Lining.
All completed passes will be entered in the grand prize drawing for a $50 gift certificate to the Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association, donated by Wells Fargo Bank. Call the library at 879-0240, ext. 312.
Meetings set for Fund Board commissions

The Education Fund Board's Education Excel--lence Commission meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday; the Technology Commission meets at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 17; and the Capital Com--mission meets at 7 p.m. Aug. 24.
