Brad Lee Doriot

Yampa resident Brad Lee Doriot died suddenly at his home July 29, 2005. He was 26.

Brad was born on June 26, 1979, in Whitefish, Mont. and spent his childhood in the Flathead Valley of Montana before moving to the Steamboat Springs area in 1998.

Brad will best be remembered by his openness, generosity and kindness, as well as his constant smile, expressed to friends and family, both old and new.

Brad found peace and adventure in the outdoors, enjoying fishing, camping and hunting. He was a skilled woodsman and loved to share his experiences with others.

He took pride in working hard for others and loved to both read and create stories. He is sorely missed.

Brad leaves behind his fiance Jamie Laman and her three children, Rylee, Kasadi, and Madason; his father, Lee "Butch" Doriot; mother, Nancy Hoffman Milewski; brother, Adam Milewski; stepfather, Bob Milewski; grandmother, Elaine Mears; grandmother, Joan Hoffman; aunts, Linda Gentile, Joyce Hoffman, Janice Hafenbrack and Alice Hoffman; uncles, Eugene Mears, Mike Gentile, Chris Hoffman, and Bruce Hoffman; cousins, Missy, Julee, Michael, Madison, Eric, Billy, Heather, Kane, Kasey, Brenda and Nathan; and a multitude of friends.

Memorial donations can be made in Brad's name in trust for Jamie Laman and children at the Yampa Valley Funeral Home at P.O. Box 776090, Steamboat Springs, CO 80477.
