1:33 a.m. A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol near Walton Creek Road and Chinook Lane.

7:12 a.m. A vehicle reportedly was parked in the acceleration lane in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

7:39 a.m. Skis were found on a Steamboat Springs Transit bus.

9:49 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported near Lincoln Avenue and Seventh Street.

12:00 p.m. Theft of an MP3 player was reported at the Steamboat Springs High School.

1:55 p.m. Routt County Search and Rescue was called out to rescue a person thought to have been caught in an avalanche on Rabbit Ears Pass. A later report stated that the snowmobiler was able to escape the avalanche and was OK.

3:26 p.m. Suspicious people were reported at the food bank in the 300 block of Seventh Street.

6:26 p.m. E-mail threats were reported in Steamboat Springs.

5:27 p.m. A guitar was reported stolen from a home in the 400 block of Routt Street.

7:30 p.m. Two suspicion men were reported sitting under the bridge on Mount Werner Road. The police contacted the men, who were fishing.

8:28 p.m. An alarm went off at a business in the 700 block of Oak Street. When police arrived, they found a ladder propped up against the adjacent building. On top of that building was another ladder connecting to the top of the building where the alarm went off. The police also found that the attic door had been kicked in, which set off the alarm. Nothing was missing in the building, and the incident is under investigation.

8:55 p.m. A party with drumming and a large fire going was reported in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive. The residents were advised to be quiet.

9:31 p.m. A large beer truck reportedly was stuck in a ditch off Fish Creek Falls Road. The truck was blocking traffic.

10:47 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in Ski Time Square.
