Roger "Jeff" Hawkins (1968-2005)

Former Steamboat Springs resident Roger "Jeff" Hawkins passed away March 19, 2005, in Grand Rapids, Mich. He was 36.
Jeff was born May 24, 1968. He graduated from Grand Rapids Catholic Central and Michigan State University.
He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered for his kind and generous spirit and his quick wit.
Jeff is survived by his parents, Patricia Hawkins and her special friend, Ed Freed, of Grand Rapids, and Roger Hawkins and his wife, Wanda, of Anthem, Ariz.; a sister, Jennifer M. Abramowski and her husband, Mike, of Grand Rapids; a special friend, Barbara Jesky; a niece, Allison Abramowski; four aunts, Beverly Hammond and her husband, Harvey, of Rockford, Mich., Sister Elizabeth Granger SSJ of Warren, Mich., Barbara Mullally and her husband, John, of Muskegon, Mich., and Mary Gouyd and her husband, Chris, of Naperville, Ill.; and several cousins and numerous friends.
Funeral services were held March 23, 2005, in Grand Rapids.
