Number of passengers to YVRA rises in July
pilot & today staff
The number of arriving passengers at Yampa Valley Regional Airport was up by almost 2,000 year over year in July. The addition of a daily flight from Houston on a Continental Airlines 50-passenger jet, coupled with a fourth daily turboprop from Denver on United Express accounted for the increase. More than 4,000 passengers arrived at the airport east of Hayden in July. That compares to about 2,500 in July 2003.
