Kitchen tour tickets on sale
The Steamboat Springs Kitchen Tour, including tours of six private home kitchens and cooking demonstrations by local chefs, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 25. Advance tickets are $20 and are available at All That Jazz, Off the Beaten Path Bookstore, The Homesteader and Strings in the Mountains, or by calling 879-5056, ext.105.
Series shows 'Dancer' tonight
The Fall Free Friday Film series continues at 7 p.m. tonight with "Dancer in the Dark." Directed by Lars von Trier, this is a musical melodrama about a factory worker who is going blind. Bjork, who wrote or co-wrote the original songs, won Best Actress at Cannes for her performance in this film.
The Free Friday Film series is held at Centennial Hall, 124 10th St. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Arrive early as seating is limited.
Ceili society meets tonight
The Yampa Valley Ceili Society meets from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the Depot Art Center, 1001 13th St. Call 879-2205.
