6:39 p.m. Police ticketed a man for disorderly conduct in the 200 block of Harvest Drive.

The man reportedly used obscene language during an argument that took place in front of children.

7:26 p.m. A drunken driver was reported on U.S. Highway 40 near milepost 117. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

Wednesday, Sept. 8

10:14 a.m. A business in the 100 block of West Jefferson Avenue reported three bad checks recieved from an Oak Creek resident.

Thursday, Sept. 9

1:01 a.m. An ambulance was requested for an elderly woman who reportedly fell in her home in the 100 block of North Fourth Street.

11:56 p.m. A man reportedly was driving erratically in the 100 block of Harvest Drive. Officers issued the man a ticked for driving under restraint and careless driving.

Friday, Sept. 10

6:38 a.m. A head-on collision was reported on U.S. Highway 40 west of Milner. One man was transported to Denver Health Medical Center with serious injuries. Two other men were taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center with severe injuries.

Saturday, Sept. 11

2:25 a.m. An argument was reported in the 700 block of West Jefferson Avenue. No tickets were issued.

11:16 p.m. A person reportedly was playing loud polka music in the 100 block of South Fifth Street.

Sunday, Sept. 12

11:33 p.m. A careless driver was reported on U.S. Highway 40 east of Hayden. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

Monday, Sept. 13

11:50 p.m. A welfare check was requested for a woman in the 300 block of East Jefferson Avenue who did not answer her phone. Officers found that the woman was okay. Her phone was out of order.

3:19 p.m. A cow reportedly was in the middle of U.S. Highway 40 east of Hayden.
