12:45 a.m. A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol near U.S. Highway 40 and Walton Creek Road.

10:28 a.m. A gas line reportedly was hit with a backhoe near Spar and Pearl streets. The reporting party thought there was a gas leak. Everything was OK.

10:38 a.m. An 18-year-old girl was reported missing in Routt County. Her parents were concerned for her safety. Just as the Routt County Search and Rescue dog team was preparing to search for her, she came out of the woods.

11:09 a.m. A camcorder and iPod reportedly were stolen out of a vehicle in the 1500 block of Red Hawk Court.

11:41 a.m. A report was made in the 2200 block of County Shop Road that a man sold a vehicle that was financed through someone else.

12:29 p.m. A windshield reportedly was broken by a water balloon in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive.

4:47 p.m. A 20-year-old man fell 20 feet from scaffolding in the 2300 block of Penny Lane. He was conscious and breathing but hurt his back. He was transported by ambulance to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

6:24 p.m. A gas leak was reported in the 300 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Everything was OK.

8:09 p.m. The Steamboat Springs Police Department did extra patrol on the mountain, making sure people had their trash in bear-resistant containers and were following the bear ordinance.

11:11 p.m. A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving while ability impaired near U.S. 40 and Anglers Drive.
