Ski Club
Anyone in Moffat County can take advantage of these trips and receive the club's great discounts. The membership fee is $10 per person, and members receive lift tickets at discounted prices. Beginners are welcome and encouraged to join. Ski Club is an excellent opportunity to experience this sport at the lowest prices possible. The season starts in mid-December and runs through March, depending on snow conditions. Skiing and on-skiing assistance is needed.
The number of trips planned for this season will depend on the number of parents who can help with trips.
Proper conduct on these trips is not just expected; it is required. School rules will apply at all times in addition to Craig Parks and Recreation rules. For more information call Craig Parks and Recreation at 826-2029. The 2004-05 trip schedule is listed below.

There will be a mandatory parent and member meeting at 7 p.m. Dec. 2 in the Craig Middle School auditorium. Everyone must attend with a parent or guardian.

Trailbusters
Trailbusters provides an excellent opportunity to learn how to ski. Youths in first through fifth grades are eligible to participate in the program at the Steamboat Ski Area.
Trailbusters is offered in two sessions.
Session 1 is Dec. 4 to Jan. 15. Session 2 is Jan. 22 to Feb. 26. Attend one or both. Moffat County participants ride a bus to Steamboat, with a sponsor, for five Saturdays.
Anyone who is planning to ski more than the five Saturdays of Trailbusters, might look into purchasing a season pass for the year. Participants are required to ride the bus. Ski rental is left up to each individual. There are special rental rates offered to Craig Parks and Recreation participants from Sports Stalker in Steamboat. There are no classes on Dec. 25, Jan. 1 or Feb. 19.
Trailbuster fee:, $135 (plus cost of daily lift ticket)
