This is an activity designed to loosen, tone and stretch muscles. Check with your physician before beginning this program. Participants must be 55 years or older. However, special consideration may be made for those in physical therapy. Senior Swimnastics is a year-round activity. The Senior Swimnastics instructor and lifeguard are provided by Craig Parks and Recreation at no cost to participants 55 and older, but all participants are required to purchase a Moffat County facility use pass. Participants 61 years and younger can purchase a pass for $120. Participants 62 years and older can purchase a pass for $100. This class is for 3- and 4-year olds. Emphasis will be placed on making swimming a fun experience. Basic swimming and safety skills will be introduced. Classes will be held at Shadow Mountain Pool on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

This class is for 5- and 6-year olds and is designed as an introduction to the Red Cross Learn to Swim program. Classes will be held at Shadow Mountain Pool on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

This is an exercise class designed to improve cardiovascular fitness, while strengthening and toning muscles. Exercising in water puts less strain on joints than exercising on land. Non-swimmers are welcome. Class is held on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at Shadow Mountain Village. Class time is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Course cost is $36 for each six-week session or drop-in fee of $3. Each class must have a certain number of participants to be held.

The fee for ITSH program (introduction to skating and hockey) is $25 and begins in November. Protective equipment is furnished. Skates will be available for $1 per session. This program will provide the basic instructions on how to skate and play hockey. It is great for beginners or novice players. All ages, including adults, are welcome. Adult protective equipment is limited.
The fee for this program is $79. Night league starts the first week in January and continues through March. Protective equipment is available. Players must furnish skates and a hockey stick. This is a non-check and less competitive league. Deadline to sign up is Dec. 10.
