Friday, Oct. 30

1:19 a.m. An inmate at the Routt County Jail reportedly refused to take prescription medication.

8:44 a.m. A cow reportedly had all four legs stuck in a cattle guard on Routt County Road 43A. After a long process, the cow was removed from the guard. The cow was not hurt.

8:14 p.m. A white Ford Bronco reportedly was in the ditch on Colorado Highway 131 near milepost 45. A man was seen walking on the side of the road nearby. Officers were unable to find the man.

8:49 p.m. A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol in the 100 block of East First Street in Yampa.

3.27 p.m. A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

4:47 p.m. A vehicle reportedly left without paying for gas in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

10:11 p.m. A 16- or 17-year-old girl was reported missing from Steamboat II. She last was seen Friday morning and was thought to be with a friend. She reportedly did not have any money or extra clothes.

11:02 p.m. A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol on U.S. Highway 40 east of Hayden.
