Hayden residents voting Tuesday need to be aware of precinct changes this year, Routt County Clerk Kay Weinland said.
Precinct 11, which was at the Hayden Congregational Church during the last election, will be at Hayden Town Hall, 178 W. Jefferson Ave.
The county has moved Precinct 12, which used to be at Hayden Town Hall, to the Hayden Public Library, 201 E. Jefferson Ave.
The changes were made to comply with federal accessibility requirements, Weinland said.
The precincts each will have five voting booths, one of which will be wheelchair accessible. The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
It's hard to predict how long the waits might be to vote, but early voting numbers indicate the wait may not be as long as voters might expect, Weinland said.
"With the great absentee and early voting turnout, I anticipate there will probably be less of a wait," she said, noting that the busiest times tend to be before people go to work -- about 7 to 8 a.m. -- lunch time and from 5 to 7 p.m.
Residents who are unsure where to vote should call Weinland's office at 870-5556.
