1:49 a.m. Steamboat Springs police assisted an intoxicated 22-year-old woman who had knocked over a trash can in the 1900 block of Ski Time Square Drive. The woman was driven downtown to her sober roommate.

9:25 a.m. A welfare check was requested for a 17-year-old boy in the 1300 block of Indian Trails who did not want to go to school. The police took him to school.

1:11 p.m. An oral dispute involving an elderly woman was reported at a business in the 2800 block of Riverside Plaza.

1:11 p.m. A complaint was made about vehicles parked along the road near a construction site at Village Drive and Meadow Lane. The reporting party said it was difficult for traffic to get through the area. The construction company was warned and advised.

2:01 p.m. A complaint was made about vehicles and construction equipment parked along a road near a construction site at AprÃs Ski Way and Ski Trail Lane.

2:28 p.m. A theft was reported at Steamboat Springs High School.

4:48 p.m. A report was made that skateboarders were causing problems in front of a business in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

6:26 p.m. A report was made that a strong smell of natural gas was coming from a building in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police and the Steamboat Springs Fire Department investigated the area and determined the smell likely was caused from the nearby sulfur springs.

6:28 p.m. A mother reported that her two high school-aged children left her at a convenience store on Anglers Drive because they wanted to stay with their father. The police found the children, and they were returned to their mother.

7:06 p.m. Harassing phone calls were reported in the Steamboat area.

8:57 p.m. A complaint was made about the noise coming from a band practicing in the 100 block of Spruce Street.
