Steamboat Springs resident Jim Robb died suddenly Nov. 14, 2004, at his home. He was 59.
Jim was born Nov. 13, 1945. He moved to Steamboat in the early 1970s and lived here until moving to Mexico in the early 1980s, when he married Mary Carmen.
The couple and their three children moved to Steamboat in 2003 so their children could attend American schools and enjoy the beauty of the Yampa Valley.
Jim operated his own jewelry importing business for 35 years and designed and manufactured silver jewelry from Mexico.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Carmen; three children, Jennifer, 15, Jimmy, 11, and Melissa, 8; and many longtime friends in Steamboat, California and Mexico.
A celebration of Jim's life is from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 2 at the Depot Art Center in Steamboat. Refreshments will be served and any stories, photos and remembrances of Jim are greatly appreciated. For more information call David Lacey at 879-6661.
