Planning Commission
to hear Haymaker plans
Plans for a permanent clubhouse for the Haymaker Golf Course are scheduled to come before the Routt County Planning Commission tonight.
The proposed clubhouse would be a 6,300-square-foot permanent structure and would take the place of the current 2,800-square-foot temporary modular clubhouse. The cost of the new clubhouse is estimated at $4 million.
When plans for the Haymaker Golf Course, which is operated by the city of Steamboat Springs, were first approved by Routt County in 1995, the permit said that the city needed to get county approval before building a clubhouse, support facilities and maintenance yard.
The Planning Commission will meet at 6 p.m. tonight in the Commissioners Hearing Room of the Routt County Courthouse Annex.
