12:48 a.m. The Steamboat Springs Police Department assisted a motorist who had slid off the road on U.S. Highway 40 near the Stock Bridge Transit Center.
2:21 a.m. A 21-year-old man was found passed out in a bus shelter in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. The man was taken to the hospital and then put into detox.
7:31 a.m. A bus driver asked for assistance in getting past a portion of Abbey Road that was blocked by nearby construction work. When police arrived, the area was clear.
8:04 a.m. A school bus and a car were in a minor accident in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. No one was injured.
8:56 a.m. A John Kerry sign was reported stolen on Spruce Street.
9 a.m. A Jeep rolled 1 1/2 times on U.S. 40 near Highpoint Drive. The driver was not injured, and the Jeep was slightly damaged on the top and side.
11:01 a.m. Construction was reported blocking the road near Overlook and Clubhouse drives.
1 p.m. A light pole reportedly was damaged in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive.
1:59 p.m. A physical altercation reportedly broke out in the 1400 block of Bob Adams Drive. A report was taken, but no charges were pressed.
3:35 p.m. A man reported to police that he could not find his vehicle. The man later talked to a friend and remembered that he had allowed the friend to use it.
3:53 p.m. A vehicle was illegally parked near Walton Creek Road and Village Drive. It was ticketed.
4:46 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue.
5:46 p.m. A complaint was made about a teenage girl's driving. The girl was in the 100 block of Trafalgar Drive and given a verbal warning about her poor driving habits.
