11:05 a.m. A complaint was filed against a man who entered an office building in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue trying to sell tools. Officers determined that the man was operating a legitimate business.
12:11 p.m. The Vail Police Department requested assistance from the Steamboat Springs Police Department to determine whether someone was living at an address in a mobile-home park in Steamboat Springs. When they arrived at the address, officers discovered that the mobile home was gone.
1:53 p.m. A bounced check was reported at a business in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.
4:04 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 2000 block of West Lincoln Avenue.
4:43 p.m. A dog reportedly attacked a man's chickens. City officers and county deputies responded because the dog resided in the city and the chickens resided in the county.
11:27 p.m. A fire alarm was reported in the 29000 block of Honeysuckle Lane. The alarm was false.
11:52 p.m. The driver of a semitrailer reported a Jeep Grand Cherokee weaving on the road and traveling 35 mph in a 55-mph zone on eastbound U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 138. Officers could not locate the Jeep.
