Daniel Brenner of Steamboat Springs accepted membership into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, a nonprofit honors organization that recognizes first- and second-year undergraduate students who excel academically. Brenner will be honored this fall during a ceremony at the University of Northern Colorado.
