Sailor girls soccer opens season today

The Steamboat Springs girls soccer team will open its home season as scheduled today.
Steamboat's varsity will take on Moffat County at 1:30 p.m. at the Christian Heritage Fields west of town.
Warm and dry weather has made those fields playable.
A snowstorm was forecast to move into the Steamboat area Friday evening, however, and if the CHS fields are covered in snow, the game likely will be moved to Craig, but Sailors coach Rob Bohlmann said that won't be decided until this morning.
