Loui Antonucci: I apologize
Saturday, March 20, 2004
During a rather impassioned debate at Tuesday night's City Council meeting, I inadvertently used the name of a local business while trying to make a point.
The point that I was trying to make is not important. What is important is that I was out of line and was not accurate in my assumptions. I wish to make a formal apology to Steve Kennedy, his family and The Homesteader for my comments.
Further, I would like to say that I think The Homesteader exemplifies a locally owned business that has remained competitive with out-of-town prices and has endeavored to meet the needs of the community.
