The final day of the Rocky Mountain Divisional in Steamboat Springs was a good one for U.S. Ski Team member and hometown favorite Lauren Crawford.

"I had a lot of good runs," Crawford said. "They were not all perfect, but I was pretty consistent all day."

Crawford fell to Ali Levy in the tightly contested women's final but took home a second-place finish in one of her most consistent showings of the season.

"It's a good lead up to the Nationals in two weeks," said Damian Wells, a Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club coach.

Levy, who also is a member of the U.S. Team, topped the field of 33 women to win the event, the last of six last week.

"Ali is a very good skier," Crawford said. "We've skied against each other in the past. Sometimes I win, and sometimes she wins -- it just depends on the day and the event."

Other top Steamboat finishers included Eliza Outtrim in fourth, Kylie Douglas in sixth and Maryann Skraba in seventh.

Carly Gmeiner, Caterina Mader and Erica Damon all tied for ninth in the head-to-head elimination format.

Sunday's blue sky also was shining on Steamboat Springs' skier Kyle Ewing, who advanced to the finals before losing to University of Colorado skier Kevin Hanian to take second place.

Steamboat's Michael Macomber was fifth with teammates Eddie Keiser and Jarrett Arguelles tied for seventh.

Michael Mead, Nic DeVos, Michael Casale, Sam Tarrant and Scott Vos all tied for ninth. Teammates Bo Randolph and Luke Kamieniecki placed 17th.

"Kyle Ewing was coming off of a strong singles showing and put down another great run in the duals," Wells said.

The dual event wrapped up a strong weekend for the members of the Winter Sports Club. Randolph earned the overall combined title for the season. That honor goes to the skier who earns the most points in aerials, moguls and dual moguls in the Rocky Mountain Division.

Wells said the team will gear up for the Junior Nationals in Silver Mountain, Idaho next week and the National Championships in Heavenly Valley, Calif., on March 23 through 28.
