12:21 a.m. Officers arrested a person stopped for a traffic violation in the 30200 block of U.S. Highway 40.

2:30 a.m. A drunken pedestrian was reported in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue.

8:03 a.m. A vehicle complaint was reported in the 500 block of Pine Street.

9:43 a.m. A small plane crashed beside the runway at the Steamboat Springs Airport. The pilot, the plane's only occupant, lost control of the plane while testing its brakes on the runway. He suffered minor injuries and was treated and released from Yampa Valley Medical Center that day.

12:52 p.m. A motor vehicle accident was reported in the 200 block of Anglers Drive.

1:10 p.m. A woman reported being harassed in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

3:08 p.m. A suspicious incident was reported at the intersection of Walton Creek and Whistler roads.

4:03 p.m. A brush fire was reported near Toponas.

4:06 p.m. A motor vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of 10th Street and Lincoln Avenue.

5:27 p.m. A motor vehicle accident was reported on Colorado State Highway 131.

6:57 p.m. An incident of assault and battery was reported in the 1900 block of Rockies Way.

8:26 p.m. Two people temporarily were trapped inside a van after it ran into a ditch near the intersection of Routt County Road 14 and Colo. 131. No one was seriously injured.

11:28 p.m. A two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Village Drive and Walton Creek Road after the driver of one vehicle reportedly fell asleep and ran a stop sign. A second vehicle, whose driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, then collided with the first vehicle. Two people were treated for minor injuries at the hospital and released.
