Theft at Stagecoach Marina Convenience Store

An employee at the convenience store at Stagecoach Marina in Stagecoach State Park reported that $250 was stolen from the store during the night Saturday. The employee reported the theft to the Routt County Sheriff's Department at 7:50 a.m. Sunday, upon his or her arrival at work. The burglary occurred between 6:50 p.m. Saturday, when employees left for the night, and 7:50 a.m. Sunday. The incident is under investigation by the sheriff's office.

Success Steps breakfast will be held at CMC

The Steamboat Springs Economic Development Council and the Colorado Mountain College Small Business Development Center host a Success Steps breakfast from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Wednesday in CMC's Bogue Hall, Room 300. The topic will be "Show me the money," teaching participants how to get the money necessary to start or grow a business. The cost is $10 and includes a continental breakfast.

Tribute to those serving overseas in September

Names of people who are serving or have died in action in Iraq and Afghanistan are being collected for a tribute at the "Wings and Wheels in the 'Boat," a Labor Day celebration at Steamboat Springs Airport.

Residents of Northwest Colorado should send information about relatives, friends or others serving overseas for a tribute at 11:30 a.m. Saturday during Labor Day weekend. Photos and information on those serving abroad will be displayed on a bulletin board while the tribute takes place. There may be a military flyover.

Historian to talk about Lewis and Clark on Friday

Yampatika presents "On the trail with Lewis and Clark," a talk by historian Stuart Wier, from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Olympian Hall. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children. To reserve seats, call Yampatika at 871-9151.
