Longtime Steamboat Springs resident Terry F. Yarger III died June 27, 2004, at United Medical Center West in Cheyenne, Wyo. He was 55.
Terry was born Oct. 7, 1948, in Minneapolis, Minn., to Marjorie L. and Terry F. Yarger Jr. He was married to Jill S. Naylor on May 19, 1995, in Minneapolis.
Terry worked as a carpenter and was an avid fly fisherman. He was a member of Trout Unlimited, Popo Agie Anglers and the Steamboat Springs Fly Fishermen's Club. He was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Edina, Minn.
Terry was preceded in death by his father.
Terry is survived by his wife, Jill S. Naylor-Yarger of Cheyenne, Wyo.; a son, Tim Hoffman, of Lander, Wyo., his mother, Marjorie L. Yarger; two sisters, Gail Colton of Marshfield, Mass., and Harriet Moritko of Darwin, Minn., four nieces and nephews and three great-nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are scheduled for July 8, 2004, at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Edina, Minn., and July 10, 2004, at the home of Kevin and Jane Bennett in Steamboat Springs. Cremation was at Schrader's Sunset Park Crematory.
