A 21-year-old Kremmling woman was issued a bench warrant Friday afternoon after failing to appear in district court.

Lisa Marie Strahl was scheduled to appear in court Friday on six Routt County cases and two Grand County cases. Since September, Strahl has continually failed to appear in front of the Routt County Court and District Court.

Four of Strahl's six Routt County cases are for bail bond violations. She has two other cases for possession of methamphetamines.

Assistant District Attorney Kerry St. James asked Judge Michael O'Hara to issue a bench warrant and set bail at $10,000 per case.

Arrest warrants already have been issued for Strahl's two Grand County cases and came with $300 and $4,000 bails. O'Hara set bond for five of Strahl's Routt County cases at $5,000 and set bond at $10,000 for the sixth case, a bail-bond violation.

Strahl originally was arrested Sept. 7 for possession of a Schedule II substance, possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was involved in an incident in which a driver had an accident on the side of Colorado Highway 131, was able to push the car back on the road and failed to remain at the scene of the accident.

A little more than a month later, Strahl was arrested a second time when she was riding in a car whose driver attempted to flee the Colorado State Patrol. In that Oct. 9 incident, Strahl was arrested on possession of a schedule II drug and drug paraphernalia.

A state trooper stopped the car Strahl was riding in at gunpoint in the Steamboat Springs Health and Recreation Center parking lot after the driver ran away from the car, and another man moved into the driver's seat and attempted to leave, according to State Patrol.
