Advocates hosts Colorado Ski for Women on Sunday
Advocates Against Battering and Abuse hosts the third annual Colorado Ski for Women at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the Steamboat Ski Touring Center. Registration is from 9 a.m. to noon. Call 879-2034. Silly costumes are encouraged.
Routt County residents enter museum for free
Routt County residents now receive free admission to the Tread of Pioneers Museum. The museum at Eighth and Oak streets is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
Design county fair logo
for a $250 cash prize
The Routt County Fair Board announced this week a contest to design a logo for the 90th annual fair, which is held in August. The winner will be awarded $250. Submissions must be submitted to the Colorado State University Cooperative Extension Office in the Routt County Courthouse Annex or to Fair Director Terry Doherty at the Routt County Fairgrounds office by Feb. 5.
Yampa Public Library
has extended its hours
Yampa Public Library has extended its hours and is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesdays, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. The library is closed Fridays and Sundays.
Hayden Senior Friendship Tea scheduled for Jan. 31
The third annual Hayden Senior Friendship Tea will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 31 at The Haven. Call Lindsay at 276-3741.
