Wednesday, Jan. 14
12:04 p.m. A car caught fire in the 300 block of Santa Fe Drive. The owner reportedly had started the car after pouring antifreeze into the radiator, and then turned the car off and went inside his home. A few moments later, a neighbor knocked on the door saying his car was on fire. The car was completely engulfed, and the owner's van caught fire, too.
Friday, Jan. 16
9:46 p.m. A Kum & Go employee backed into another vehicle parked at the store, causing minor damage. The employee left the accident momentarily to get her husband and returned.
Sunday, Jan. 18
12:41 a.m. A set of keys was found at the Hayden Post Office.
4:35 a.m. A noninjury, hit-and-run accident was reported in the 200 block of South Second Street.
Monday, Jan. 19
2:38 p.m. Police were called to break up a fight between two boys at the high school. The fight reportedly started when one of the boys was accidentally hit by the other's backpack.
