12:17 a.m. A man reported that sounds of breaking furniture and a woman in distress were coming from a residence in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. The Steamboat Springs Police Department investigated and found nothing.

12:26 a.m. An elderly man was reported to be intoxicated in the Walton Creek area. He was taken to the hospital.

12:28 a.m. An intoxicated man was found frostbitten and with hypothermia in the 700 block of South Lincoln Avenue. He was taken to the hospital.

1:21 a.m. A man, who was injured while trying to jump over a fence to get to a hot tub in the 3000 block of South Lincoln Avenue, was taken to the hospital.

2:23 p.m. An intoxicated man was found unresponsive and lying in front of a building in the 1900 block of Ski Time Square. He was taken to the hospital.

2:44 p.m. A bounced check was reported in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road.

3:42 p.m. A hotel and food voucher was given to a man who was passing through Steamboat and did not have place to stay.

3:49 p.m. A noninjury accident was reported on Seventh Street.

4:28 p.m. A hit-and-run was reported in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive.

5:10 p.m. A hit-and-run was reported in the 1200 block of Sparta Plaza. Police have a suspect.

5:52 p.m. A noise complaint was made in the 3000 block of Apres Ski Way that someone next door was hammering. The complaint was unfounded.

6:45 p.m. A vehicle reportedly drove into a ditch near the intersection of Hilltop Parkway and Sandhill Circle.

9:42 p.m. A noise complaint was made at Shadow Run about loud music and a party. Police discovered the noise was coming from the ski area's music tent.

9:57 p.m. A coin machine in the laundry room of Thunderhead Lodge reportedly was broken into, and $50 was taken.

11:16 p.m. A person reportedly was handing out balloons in Gondola Square. The balloons were believed to contain nitrous oxide. The subject left before police arrived.
