n A two-day avalanche seminar begins at 9 a.m. at Steamboat Lake State Park. The course runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and is a combination of classwork and fieldwork taught by Colorado Mountain College Outdoors Studies Instructor John Saunders.
