— Yampa Valley Real Estate is a new monthly publication of the Steamboat Pilot & Today, representing the latest piece in a family of publications and related Web sites intended to provide comprehensive marketing services for real estate professionals.

"What Yampa Valley Real Estate offers is the full distribution of Steamboat Today, plus copies at more than 150 locations throughout Routt County at no additional charge," publisher Suzanne Schlicht said. "We also do a monthly mailing to out-of-town subscribers of the Sunday Pilot and Today."

In addition to the print edition of Yampa Valley Real Estate, the magazine is online at YampaValleyRealEstate.com.

Pilot & Today Regional Advertising director Bryna Larsen said newspaper managers gathered input from Realtors before launching the new product.

"Realtors are telling us that a majority of their sales come from outside Steamboat," Larsen said. "Our mission was to design a comprehensive package to broaden the scope and reach of property beyond the Yampa Valley."

YampaValleyRealEstate.com is designed to direct potential real estate purchasers to another Pilot & Today site, SteamboatHomfinder.com. There, they can quickly and conveniently search for real estate listing by type and price.

The newspaper will mail copies of the magazine to all its Sunday subscribers. In addition, visitors to the Web site may request free copies.

The paper's ability to deliver a Realtor's marketing message through a variety of distribution methods is one of the major strengths of Yampa Valley Real Estate, Larsen said. The monthly publication frequency keeps the content fresh and offers flexibility to real estate sellers, she added.

Yampa Valley Real Estate may be found throughout the area in bright red newspaper boxes shaped like homes. In addition, copies may be found in racks inside many area businesses. Real estate offices are being supplied with custom wooden display boxes created by Live Edge Gallery of Steamboat.
