Greco moves up at Powdr Corp.
Former Steamboat Ski Area President Vern Greco has accepted a new position with his present company, Powdr Corp.
Greco has given up his position as general manager and president of Park City Mountain Resort in Utah to become vice-president/chief operating officer of Powdr Corp. In that capacity, he will oversee Alpine Meadows, Boreal Ridge and Soda Springs in California and Mount Bachelor, Ore.
Martinez certified as installation technician

Andrew Martinez, installation manager for Custom Design Audio in Steamboat Springs, has completed the Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association's certification program for installation technicians.
Operations Manager Paul Catterson said Martinez's certification means he can assure his customers that all system wiring and equipment installations meet CEDIA standards and comply with building department and life safety regulations.
Custom Design Audio designs and installs home theater, whole-house audio, lighting control and residential automation systems.
Frontier announces new flight to Philadelphia

Frontier Airlines reported it would start flights to Philadelphia from Denver and Los Angeles on May 23, the second low-fare carrier to swoop in and try to take business from struggling US Airways.
The mix of business travelers and vacationers traveling to Philadelphia make it an attractive market for the Denver-based carrier, said Sean Menke, a Frontier vice president.
Denver tycoon Anschutz purchases Examiner
Billionaire investor and Qwest Communications founder Phil Anschutz is buying the once-mighty San Francisco Examiner from the Fang family, the parties announced Thursday.
A source close to the deal said Anschutz is paying $20 million for the daily that Florence Fang and her family bought from the Hearst Corp.
