Andrew Robert Roise: 2004-2004

Andrew Robert Roise, the firstborn son of Andrew and Bethany Roise, died Jan. 27, 2004, after nine months of life spent being treasured by his parents and being knit together by God in his mother's womb.
Andrew was born at 5:48 p.m. Jan. 29, 2004, at Yampa Valley Medical Center. He weighed 9 pounds, 2 ounces and measured 21.5 inches long.
He is survived by his proud and loving parents; his maternal and paternal grandparents, Del and Nina Lockhart of Steamboat Springs and Doug and Michelle Roise of Georgetown, Minn.; maternal great-grandparents Lloyd and Annabeth Lockhart of Steamboat and Dick and Connie Nichols of Cottonwood, Ariz.; paternal great-grandparents Robert and Dorothy Roise of Minot, N.D., and Robert and Thelma Bolduc of Stephen, Minn.; nine uncles, Daniel Dawson, James and Jonathan Lockhart of Steamboat, Peter Roise of Moscow, Idaho, Stephen, Michael, Christian and Douglas Roise of Georgetown, Minn.; and four aunts, Susanna and Sarah Lockhart of Steamboat and Elizabeth and Abigail Roise of Georgetown, Minn.
Little Andrew truly was a blessed boy.
A memorial service was held at the Yampa Valley Funeral Home. Graveside services followed with Pastor Mike Ferguson officiating. Andrew is interred in Steamboat Springs Cemetery.
"The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away; blessed be the name of the Lord."
