Snowboard art entries taken

A prospectus is available for participants in the third annual "Snowboard Art III" competition, sponsored by Ride Snowboard and ArtLink.

The deadline for entries is Jan. 15. Artists may submit a maximum of two designs, and they must be digital.

Last year's Best of Show winner, Adam Reitz, pocketed $1,000 and had his artwork printed on a limited-edition run of five Custom Ride snowboards.

This year's grand-prize winner will receive $1,000 cash and a one-of-a-kind Ride snowboard featuring the winning artwork. The first runner-up will receive $750 and a pair of Ride bindings. The second runner-up will receive $500 and Ride boots, and third runner-up will receive $250 and a Ride jacket and pants.

The top 50 entries will be printed and exhibited locally at Centennial Hall from Feb. 14 to March 18.
