12:56 a.m. A car accident was reported at mile marker 144 on U.S. Highway 40. A woman lost control of her vehicle and slid about 75 feet off an embankment. She suffered from exposure to the elements while awaiting help but was not injured in the accident.

7:25 a.m. An ambulance was requested in the 3000 block of Village Drive for a 23-year-old man who reportedly was feeling ill after drinking too much the night before.

9:01 a.m. A two-vehicle noninjury accident was reported at Eighth and Aspen streets.

9:58 a.m. A suspicious incident was reported in Copper Ridge Business Park.

11:16 a.m. A motorist assist was requested at Colorado Highway 131 and Routt County Road 14E.

12:07 p.m. A tow was requested in the 500 block of Tamarack Drive for an abandoned vehicle on private property.

1:09 p.m. An officer was requested on Rabbit Ears Pass. A motorist came upon a tow truck driver who was stopped to help a stuck semitrailor. The motorist and tow truck drivier reportedly got in a confrontation. The tow truck driver reportedly hit the motorist's vehicle with a tool, denting it.

1:11 p.m. A vehicle complaint was made about a large truck carrying styrofoam chips that it was "losing like it was snowing." The driver was given a warning.

5:01 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at Fourth and Oak streets.

5:15 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 600 block of S. Lincoln Ave.

7:13 p.m. A juvenile situation was reported. A 16-year-old was causing problems, and his or her mother wanted police to come discipline the teenager.

10:43 p.m. Theft of golf clubs and CDs from a vehicle was reported in the 1300 block of Dream Island Mobile Home Community.

11:43 p.m. Domestic violence was reported in the Steamboat Springs area. A 51-year-old man was arrested on third-degree assault charges on suspicion of dragging his wife out of bed and hurting her.
