10:33 a.m. Steamboat Springs police responded to a report of a disturbance at Colorado Mountain College. When located, the suspect was issued a verbal warning for trespassing.

11:37 a.m. A report of shots fired was made from the 800 block of Fox Lane. Police responded to the report and found an 18-year-old man setting off fireworks. The suspect was given a verbal warning, and his fireworks were confiscated.

2:33 p.m. A gas skip was reported at the On the Way gas station in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. According to station employees, the occupant of a blue sedan left the station without paying for about $25 worth of gasoline.

4:16 p.m. Police responded to burglar alarms sounding in two homes in the 1000 and 1100 blocks of Steamboat Boulevard. Officers searched both residences before determining they were false alarms.

5:58 p.m. A police officer informed a resident of an outstanding warrant in his name relating to an unpaid dog-at-large ticket. The man with the warrant asked the police officer to take him to jail to straighten out the matter before the suspect had to return to school.

9:37 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported near Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. According to police, a silver Subaru headed eastbound on Lincoln Avenue was sideswiped by a sport utility vehicle. No suspects have been identified.
