Former Steamboat Springs resident Robert Ernest "Fergie" Ferguson passed away Aug. 9, 2004, at his home in Arvada. He was 57.
Fergie was born July 31, 1947. He was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend to many. He lived life to the fullest, had a heart of gold and left us way too soon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Marguerite Ferguson; and his wife, Sylvia.
Fergie is survived by his children, Ernie Ferguson, Peggy Spady and her husband, Jeremy, and Tawna Strande and her husband, Blaine; future daughter-in-law Stacia; three grandchildren, Kane Chamberlain and Christina and Austin Spady; a step-granddaughter, Aubrey; a grandchild on the way; and a sister, June Sloniger.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Crown Hill Mortuary in Denver.
