12:55 a.m. A loud party was reported in the 700 block of Pine Street. Police responded and warned and advised the party.

8:39 a.m. Vandalism was reported in the 1500 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Two rocks apparently were thrown into the Steamboat Springs Transit Center building, damaging drywall and a window. There are no suspects.

10:00 a.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported at Seventh and Yampa streets. A vehicle struck a sprinkler head, which was shooting out water. Police took a report, and the sprinkler was fixed.

10:40 a.m. In the 800 block of South Lincoln Avenue, the owner of a 2000 Kia reported the car had been hit the night before, but damage was not noticed until Thursday. Police took a report.

10:43 a.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 500 block of Oak Street. A white van had been seen on the street the day before and had returned. Police contacted the owners of the van, who were selling fruit door to door. They warned and advised the people about selling without a sales-tax license.

1:00 p.m. A noninjury motor vehicle accident was reported in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

1:48 p.m. A vehicle owner reported that the rear driver side of the vehicle had been hit in the 400 block of Oak Street. The owner did not know where or when the damage happened.

2:09 p.m. Police red tagged an abandoned vehicle in the 2100 block of Bear Drive.

3:15 p.m. A two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Walton Creek Road and Village Drive. Minor injuries were reported, and a citation was issued to one driver.

5:21 p.m. People reportedly were driving mini-bikes in the 3300 block of Whistler Road and making loud noise. Police warned and advised them.

5:38 p.m. A noninjury motor vehicle accident was reported in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Drivers thought one vehicle may have been leaking gasoline, but it turned out to be water from an icebox.

6:51 p.m. A caller reported that someone was threatening to beat him up. Police responded, warned and advised the suspect, and helped mediate the situation.

8:51 p.m. Twenty to 25 youths reportedly were hanging out behind Old Town Square. Police responded and saw the situation was fine.

9:29 p.m. A loud party, with people throwing things off a balcony and setting off bottle rockets, was reported in the 3300 block of AprÃs Ski Way. Police warned and advised those involved.

10:25 p.m. Someone reportedly was setting off explosives at the base of the Steamboat Ski Area. Police were unable to locate the subjects.

10:26 p.m. A loud party was reported in the 500 block of Ore House Plaza. Police warned and advised those involved.
