Mary Zimmerman Goltry

Former Hahn's Peak and Steamboat Springs resident Mary Zimmerman Goltry died March 13, 2004, in Denver.
Mary was born in 1909 in Hahn's Peak, the eldest daughter of Ed and Mary Zimmerman.
The family moved to Steamboat in 1912. Mary lived with her family in the Zimmerman House, which is now part of the Tread of Pioneers Museum.
She attended school in Steamboat until 1927, when she entered the Colorado State Teachers College in Greeley. Mary later taught in Tow Creek and Mount Harris before marrying Clell Goltry.
She is survived by two sons, Norman of Denver and Stanley of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two sisters, Zelma Mawhinny of Vero Beach, Fla., and Muriel Bowen of Gillette, Wyo.; and one granddaughter.
A funeral service was held March 19, 2004. Internment is at Fairmont Cemetery in Denver.
