1912-2003
Lambert "Bud" Roesch died Sept. 7, 2003, from complications from pneumonia. Bud, who was a resident of the Doak Walker Care Center, was 91 years old.
Bud was born March 17, 1912, in Ada, Minn. He graduated from Ada High School, where he was a star basketball player. Bud attended Idaho State University.
He was a World War II veteran, having served in the Rainbow Division. He was wounded in action and received the Purple Heart.
Bud and Ruth Pederson Roesch, his wife of 65 years, lived in Rochester, Minn., from 1945 to 1978. Bud was an agency manager for State Farm Insurance Company for more than 35 years.
The couple retired to Tarpon Woods, Fla., and spent their summers at their lake home in Aitkin, Minn.
Bud is survived by his wife, Ruth; two sons, Steve Roesch of Largo, Fla., and Randy Cinquemani of Steamboat Springs; a daughter, Robin Arendts of Mantorville, Minn.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in Bud's memory to the Doak Walker Care Center, 1100 Central Park Drive, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487.
