Friday, Sept. 5

1:54 a.m. An officer was requested at 1855 Ski Time Square, where security officials found an open door that was suspicious. Police found no one inside and said the door is one that is frequently open.

8:12 a.m. There reportedly was a gas skip for $8.01 at the Kum & Go on Anglers Drive.

8:16 a.m. A shopper at Wal-Mart reported someone had backed into and damaged his or her car in the parking lot. There are no suspects.

9:30 a.m. A cell phone reportedly was stolen from a car parked at Fifth Street and Yampa Avenue.

12:18 p.m. There was an animal complaint in the 1000 block of Central Park Drive.

12:28 p.m. After a resident on Aspenwood Drive reported about speeding cars, extra patrol was called to the area for radar checks.

1:22 p.m. A cell phone was reported lost at Mount Werner Circle.

3:11 p.m. Harassment was reported in the 21500 block of Whitewood Drive West.

4:01 p.m. There was an ambulance request in the 2400 block of Ski Trail Lane.

5:46 p.m. A gas skip of $39.90 was reported at Go-fers.

7:31 p.m. There was a noise complaint in the 2300 block of Ski Trail Lodge.

9:35 p.m. Hit deer were reported on Colorado Highway 131.

10:11 p.m. A car that was running was reported at Ninth Street and Yampa Avenue. A volunteer ambulance crew member had left for a call and left the vehicle running.

10:39 p.m. A fire alarm went off at Colorado Mountain College.
