Q: When did you move to Routt County and what brought you here?
A: I moved here in December of 2001 to work as a snowboard instructor
Q: What's the biggest risk you've taken recently?
A: Entering my first Town Challenge mountain bike race.
Q: Describe your morning routine.
A: Wake up to the face of my roommate's dog, Buddah, drink copious amounts of coffee and head to work.
Q: Has a book ever changed your life? What was it and why?
A: Ayn Rand's, "The Fountainhead." I read it when I was 17 and had never before imagined the thinking that she proposed.
Q: What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
A: From my mother, don't get yourself into anything that you can't get out of.
Q: When you meet someone new, what are the first three things you say about yourself?
A: That I'm 23, that I like to rock climb and that I'd like to be rock climbing more.
Q: When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A: An artist and a doctor (I had it all worked out).
Q: In the Meatloaf song, "I'll do anything for love, but I won't do that." What is "that"?
A: Who knows, it's Meatloaf we're talking about, probably cutting his hair.
Q: Do you collect anything?
A: Too much outdoor gear.
