9:43 a.m. Two vehicles reportedly were parked illegally at the intersection of East Maple and Second streets. A warning was given.
9:56 a.m. A person claimed that a flagger on a construction site at the intersection of Ski Time Square and Mount Werner Circle motioned for her to turn the wrong way into oncoming traffic. The situation was resolved.
11:04 a.m. Possible animal cruelty was reported on Missouri Avenue. A resident reported that a puppy was squealing and looked as if it was being choked by a rope. The report also stated there was not enough water for the animal.
2:20 p.m. A rifle was reported stolen from under a bed in a residence on East Maple Street.
6:20 p.m. Fighting was reported in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Court. The reporting party said two men were arguing on a deck. The Steamboat Springs Police Department investigated the situation and found that nothing criminal had occurred.
6:34 p.m. Someone called to report a "flamboyant" BMW convertible parked in a handicap parking space in the 700 block of Yampa Avenue. A ticket was given.
7:07 p.m. A resident reported that he had moved into a home where the previous occupant had not paid large utility and phone bills. The police gave information on how to resolve the situation.
