2:15 a.m. Aerial fireworks were seen and heard in the 3200 block of Willowbrook Court. Two other households also reported the fireworks. Police could not locate the person or persons shooting them.

5:27 a.m. A Steamboat Pilot & Today delivery driver reported two juvenile boys possibly vandalizing newspapers in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police found that the two boys were reading the paper and gave them a ride home.

10:09 a.m. Sheriff's deputies were requested to help search for two horse riders who were expected to return Saturday night from a trail near the Seedhouse Campground. By the time the deputies arrived, the riders returned and reported that one of the horses became lame and they had to walk back.

11:43 a.m. A boy broke his wrist at the skate park and was transported via ambulance to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

12:39 p.m. A woman driving a maroon Ford Ranger reached over to pick up her ringing cell phone and inadvertently crossed the centerline, colliding with a Mercury Mountaineer. Both vehicles went off the road. No one was injured.

6:44 p.m. A resident of the 28000 block of Routt County Road 64 reported that guns had been repeatedly fired throughout the day from a neighbor's house. Police found there were two men shooting .22 and .300 magnums but did not issue a citation because they were in the county.

7:50 p.m. A woman reported that a neighbor's dog bit and scratched one of her family members in the 43400 block of McGuire Lane in Hayden.

8:41 p.m. A girl got separated from her younger sister in the 100 block of Main Street in Oak Creek and reported her lost. Police located the parents and the girl minutes later.

8:47 p.m. Three middle-aged men were reported leaping the swimming pool fence at Hampton Inn. A clerk told them police were coming and they left.

9:53 p.m. A disturbance was reported when two men got into a shouting match at the Colorado Bar. One of the men had a warrant for several charges and was arrested.
