n The Downtown Business Association's Halloween Stroll for children is from 5 to 7 p.m. at businesses on Lincoln Avenue.

n A Halloween ice skating party, complete with costume contests, is from 6 to 9 p.m. at Howelsen Ice Arena. Call 871-1152.

n The Steamboat Springs Arts Council hosts a Halloween party at 7:30 p.m. Dancing, cash bar and $100 prize for best costume. Tickets are $15, available at the Depot Art Center or at the door, with proceeds benefiting the arts council. Call 879-9008.

n Colorado Mountain College hosts a costume dance party at 10 p.m. at The Center For Movement Arts, 1104 Lincoln Ave. The party is open to the public 18 and older; cover is $3.
